Neon - Coffee and Donuts - Picture

Neon signs have come a long way since their inception. Since neon was first used in signs, it has captured everyone’s imagination, and signs are ordered for business and personal use, custom made to meet one’s specific requirements.

The first neon signs were red, but today you can buy them in just about any color you can imagine. There about 150 different colors to choose from. You can order the size and style of your liking.  When thinking of the different styles of neon’s you can buy or have specially made, they can range from your favorite beer sign, favorite sports team, maybe even your child’s favorite character from their favorite movie. The ideas are endless as to what you can have done.

You may ask,” is neon dangerous”?  Neon and argon gas by themselves are not, they are inert. Just like the fluorescent tubes there is a minute amount of mercury present and they are safe if not broken. Proper handling should be done as with any lighting source you may use.

Neon lights have a life expediency of 8 to 15 years, but can last for decades. They are able to be repaired and recharged.

LED lights are just as popular as neon. You can also get programmable signs in LED’s. There are simulated neon’s, mirror-brites, light boxes and even blackboard neon’s.
You can even get neon flexible rope lights and sculptures.

As you can see the ideas are endless. You can go from here to there and still probably not get to the end.
